Gambia: Once-in-a-Lifetime Training

As you know we are raising funds to send two of our team members to Gambia to support the teachers at Starlight school. Our goal is to help these educators enhance their skills to provide the best education for the amazing children at their school. This experience isn’t just about professional growth; it’s a journey that will also enrich us as individuals. Travelling the world opens up new educational, personal, and professional opportunities. Together, we can set off a ripple effect of positive change. Just like the butterfly effect theory, a small action can lead to significant impacts elsewhere. By supporting the educators in Gambia, we hope to create a shift – an eagerness to learn from different experiences and how these can shape us both personally and professionally. We believe the talented educators in Gambia will teach us valuable lessons, just as we hope to share our knowledge with them. This opportunity is not only beneficial for our team at Curiosity but also for the children of Starlight school. By supporting these children and empowering their educators, we’re laying the foundation for their lifelong success. Every interaction we have with a child can make a profound difference – sparking a passion for learning, helping them acquire new skills, and boosting their self-confidence. And these positive changes can extend beyond the classroom, influencing families, communities, and beyond, just like ripples in water. The impact isn’t just one way – our team members going to Gambia will also gain invaluable experiences, new perspectives, and fresh opportunities. These experiences will shape how we engage with the children in our nursery, allowing us to evolve as educators and carers. Personally, I’m incredibly passionate about the positive impact this adventure will have on my own growth as an educator and as a person. This is an opportunity I wholeheartedly believe in, and I hope to embrace this once-in-a-lifetime journey. When you have a chance to expand your horizons and support others in the process, it’s an opportunity you simply can’t miss. With your support I might be one of the lucky ones to take part in this life changing opportunity.
