At CurioCity Childcare, we pride ourselves in providing challenging, open ended provision, with endless opportunities for the children to explore their environments. Our practice is inspired by Reggio Emilia and Scandinavian ethos – we believe that children should be surrounded by beautiful, aesthetic things and exposed to inspirational experiences.
CurioCity Childcare is registered with Ofsted and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory framework 2025. This sets the standards for learning child development safeguarding and welfare for children from birth to five.
There is always at least one member of staff present and on outings with a current full Paediatric First Aid certificate in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage 2025 requirements. We aim to have all our staff fully First aid trained.

We are Reggio Emilia inspired and are child-led and our approach is child-centered
We are eco conscious - our resources come from companies that care about the environment
We grow our own food and children cook with it - All our food is cooked fresh on site
Extra curricular activities include forest school, yoga, sports club, cooking club, languages
Extended hours are available at the nursery from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday
