WE WANT OUR CHILDREN TO BE CURIOUS AND ADVENTUROUS

We want them to go on a journey of exploration guided by us, enhanced by our provision of amazing and, often, authentic resources. We want to lay the foundations of their love of education, to inspire them to want to find out more and enjoy the process of learning.

At CurioCity Childcare, we pride ourselves in providing challenging, open ended provision, with endless opportunities for the children to explore their environments.

Our practice is inspired by Reggio Emilia and Scandinavian ethos – we believe that children should be surrounded by beautiful, aesthetic things and exposed to inspirational experiences. We put big emphasis on the way we teach children and what resources we use. In daily activities children have opportunities to use their imagination as well as develop critical thinking.

We strongly believe that children must be confident to develop and become curious, inquisitive adults. This is fostered by our carefully selected staff, who pride themselves on building strong relationships with children through our key worker system.
